Bordeaux Mountain Trail Details
Bordeaux Mountain, the highest peak in the park, is climbable in two ways: by driving along Bordeaux Mountain Road and taking the Bordeaux Peak Trail, an easy hike that gains roughly 77 feet from the road; or by actually climbing the mountain from its base. The Bordeaux Mountain Trail is the latter route: a tough hike that climbs 1,100 feet up the mountain from Lameshur Bay on a 1.4-mile path leading to Bordeaux Mountain Road. From there, it's a half-mile walk along the roadside before you reach that final 77-foot push for the peak.
