About at the half-way point of the Icefields Parkway is Parkers Ridge and its spectacular views. A two-hour hike takes you 5.9 kilometers (3.7 miles) and up 820 feet to the top of Parkers Ridge. Once at the top, ready yourself for stunning mountain and valley views, and the Saskatchewan Glacier, the largest of the Columbia Icefield's six glaciers. You'll also spot glacier and ice-capped peaks of Athabasca, Andromeda and Castleguard, just to list a few.
