Parker Ridge Details

A series of switchbacks leads you to dramatic views of the Saskatchewan Glacier, the headwaters of the Saskatchewan River that flows through Alberta and Saskatchewan. As always, be sure to help preserve the fragile alpine ecosystem by staying on the trail, even though it may be tempting to veer off course. The trailhead for this hike is off of Highway 93 North, 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of the Saskatchewan Crossing, or 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) south of the Icefield Centre.
