Horseback Riding Details

Most of the park is open to horseback riding, with just a few areas where horses aren't permitted due to their impact on the terrain. Be sure and check with the park before starting your ride, though, as different riding areas are open at various times in the summer, from June to July onward. Campsites within the park are open to horseback riders, too, so overnight rides are a possibility as well.
