Stanford Backcountry Campsites Details
Distance hikers and bikers using the Towpath Trail and the park's backcountry trails can get reservations to stay overnight at one of the five primitive backcountry campsites located in Boston Mills. Sites cost $18 per day and generally must be reserved at least three days in advance; however, you can check at the Trailmix Store to see if any last-minute reservations can be had. No cars are permitted. The Stanford Backcountry Campsites are within walking distance of the Towpath Trail, close to the circa 1830 George Stanford House, which previously operated as a hostel.
