Big Cypress Swamp Welcome Center Details

The Big Cypress Swamp Welcome Center, which serves the Big Cypress National Preserve as well as the adjacent Everglades National Park, opened in 2010 and offers indoor and outdoor exhibits on the history of the swamp, maps, educational materials, and a short film. There is also a bookstore, restrooms, and NPS staff on hand. Other than Christmas Day, the visitor center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Contact the Big Cypress Swamp Welcome Center at 239-695-4758.
