Douglas Spring Trail Details
A waterfall in the desert? Well, that's just what you'll find if you follow the 17.2-mile roundtrip Douglas Spring Trail in the Rincon Mountain District. The moderately navigated hike is a great introduction if you're looking to lengthen your hikes without many technical challenges. Start at the trailhead at the east end of Speedway Boulevard, and make your way to Bridal Wreath Falls. You can either turn around here or continue along the trail until it ends at the Douglas Spring Campground, where the spring can be found. The spring's flow is dependent upon weather conditions, so it's not considered a reliable water source. The Douglas Spring trailhead is accessible 24 hours a day.
