Cactus Forest Trail Details
Take a leisurely walk along this multi-use trail (open to hikers, bicyclists and horseback riders) to a historic lime kiln site. If you start from the north trailhead (the Broadway Trailhead at Broadway Boulevard and Freeman Road), the roundtrip walk to the kilns is two miles roundtrip; from the south trailhead (the Irvington Trailhead off of Freeman Road south of Escalante Road), the walk is three miles to the kilns. For a longer, 10-mile hike, take the entire trail out and back.
