Fumarole Bay Trail Details
The Fumarole Bay Trail is an easy, 0.7-mile hike along the shore of Fumarole Bay on Wizard Island, the largest island in Crater Lake. The hike is flat, gaining less than 50 feet in elevation. You will start inland and work your way towards the shoreline along volcanic rocks (be careful they can be slippery). In order to get to Wizard Island you have to descend the Cleetwood Cove Trail and take a tour boat. Once on the island, you can also hike to the summit of Wizard Island.
