Godfrey Glen Trail Details

The Godfrey Glen Trail is the only trail in Crater Lake National Park that is fully accessible to people with limited mobility (some people in wheelchairs may need assistance, however). It is a short, easy loop hike on the south end of the park, 2.4 miles south of Park Headquarters on Munson Valley Road. You will get views of Munson Creek, which empties into Annie Creek and Annie Creek Canyon, and see fossil fumaroles, which are ancient volcanic rock formations. The trail starts at 6,000 feet and stays relatively flat, gaining only fifty feet as it winds through old-growth forests, with several overlooks of the steep walls and roaring waters of Annie Creek Canyon. In the summer, wildflowers line the edges of the canyon. Plan around 30 minutes to complete the one-mile loop. You can pick up a self-guiding brochure at the trailhead.
