Frazee House Trailhead Details
The Franzee House, a beautiful grand old brick house, was built by citizen Stephen Franzee in 1827 from a settlement he received when the canal was built on his property. Since renovated, it is open to visitors on summer weekends. Just north of Sagamore Creek and near the Cuyahoga River and Canal Road, the trailhead is a gateway to the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, as well as the Buckeye Trail and an abundance of historical knowledge.
