Limberlost Trail Details

This easy loop trail is great for all skill and ability levels: it is ADA accessible and has a crushed rock surface. Starting from the trailhead at mile 43 on Skyline Drive, the trail gently winds through virgin hemlock, old homesteads, wetlands, and over White Oak Canyon Run. If you time it right, you'll get to witness wildflowers blooming all along the trail. The wetlands attract many kinds of wildlife, so keep an eye out for birds, deer, rattlesnakes, bear, and rabbits.
