A small picnic area located along the road to Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. There is a semi-portable restroom and a number of small grills available. Limited parking for cars only. If it's early in the morning, there's a good chance you'll see a deer wondering around. All picnic areas in Yosemite Valley have picnic tables, vault toilets, garbage and recycling receptacles. All picnic areas except Lower Yosemite Fall and Church Bowl have grills.
