This historic parkway, also known as State Route 410, connects the town of Enumclaw to the eastern edge of the park, then runs north and west toward the Tacoma and Seattle area. It thus serves as one of the park's main gateways from both east and west. From the east, the road threads through the 5,423-foot Chinook Pass, then drops down to Tipsoo Lake before winding its way back up to the 469-foot Cayuse Pass. Here, Highway 410 turns north towards the White River Entrance before running out of the park, while Highway 123 goes south towards Ohanapecosh.
