Inter Glacier Details
This small glacier on Mount Rainier's northeast slope covers .3 square miles. It begins at 9,400 feet, just below Steamboat Prow, and in between the Emmons Glacier to the south and the Winthrop Glacier to the north, and travels northeast to its terminus at 7,000 feet. The glacier has a smooth surface with few crevasses due to the moderate slope. The glacier feeds into the White River.
