Washington Column Details
Visible throughout Yosemite Valley, this smooth, rounded rock formation just east of the Royal Arches often goes unvisited because of its lack of accessibility. The 1,912-foot pillar of granite, stemming from one of North Dome's ridges, is a popular destination for rock climbers and has a number of big walls and traditional climbing routes to explore.
