Paradise Creek Details
You can access Paradise Creek from Buckeye Flats Campground near site 28. You'll walk for .25 miles along Kaweah River before coming to a wooden bridge. Cross here and continue up to Paradise Creek for incredible swimming and relaxing in the river's natural pools and cascades. If you have no interest in stopping to cool down in the creek, you can continue hiking upstream for about 2 miles before the trail stops. The only difficulty in getting to Paradise Creek is the parking. There is no trailhead parking, and, unless you spent the night at Buckeye Flats Campground, you'll have to park at Hospital Rock and walk the extra .6 miles to the trail head (an extra 1.2 miles round trip). The extra milage is worth it though, as it did not earn the name "Paradise" Creek for nothing.
