Knapp's Cabin Details

It;s just a short walk from a turnout two miles east of Cedar Grove Village Road to get a look at Knapp's Cabin. The cabin was built during the 1920's, when Santa Barbara businessman George Knapp led extravagant fishing expeditions here; the small cabin was used to store gear. The structure is the oldest in Cedar Grove, and visiting at dusk means you'll get great views of the glacier-carved canyon, as well.
