Marble Falls Trail Details

Marble Falls is one of the most dramatic trails in the Foothills region. The moderately difficult hike is 3.9-miles one way and offers views of some of Sequoia’s most rugged terrain. Hikers should park in the overflow lot across the highway from Potwisha Campground; the trail begins on a dirt road at the upper end of the campground near site 14. Go a short distance and you’ll see a sign on the right side of the road marking the trail, which leads directly to the falls. Those who choose to go beyond the base of Marble Falls should be careful of the water and slippery rocks. Foothills trails, such as Marble Falls, are accessible year-round. Fall means cooler temperatures and spring means wildflowers; March through late May is particularly spectacular.
