Dorr Mountain South Ridge Trail Details
Running through coniferous forests and over Dorr's famous open ridges, the trail diverges 1.2 miles from the Canon Brook Trail at the mountain's southernmost extremity and rewards hikers with a stunning ascent to the summit. Great views of Champlain Mountain, Cadillac Mountain, and the ocean are frequent during the moderately graded ascent that travels along a stream and through forested valleys. Seldom traveled, the trail makes a great, although less accessible, secluded ascent to the summit. Trailhead: from Canon Brook Trailhead.
