Hermitage Point Details
The Hermitage Point trail takes hikers through forest, meadows, past ponds and streams including Heron Pond and Swan Lake, and onto a wooded peninsula to a point on Jackson Lake with lovely views of the Tetons. The terrain is mostly rolling, with some steep inclines. A side trail leads to Jackson Lake Overlook. You can access the Hermitage Point Backcountry Campsite from this trail, which begins at the Colter Bay Visitor Center parking lot.
