Beech South Ridge Trail Details

The trail follows a series of switchbacks and stone steps along the southern side of Beech Mountain through dense spruce forests and over open ledges. This well-marked trail intersects with the Valley Trail and is a great descent from the Beech Mountain summit which offers south views across Southwest Harbor. Trailhead: Beech Mountain summit or Long Pond Service Road.
