Beech Mountain Details
A 1.2-mile moderate loop hike located in the Acadia National Park - well known as the highest Atlantic coastal headlands. As the most popular peak in the region, the surrounding land is a network of trails. The busiest times of year will see several visitors on the two loop trails, Beech Mountain Loop and Beech Mountain Valley Loop. Though both are short, they are moderately tough hikes, though the view from the top of the famous fire tower is considered worth the effort.
