The Canyon Vistas Mule Ride offers a scenic journey along the rim of Grand Canyon National Park, combining sweeping views with interpretive storytelling. This four mile experience includes approximately two hours in the saddle and travels along the East Rim Trail, departing from the Yaki Barn located five miles east of Grand Canyon Village. Round trip bus transportation to and from Yaki Barn is included as part of the adventure. Along the route, wranglers pause several times to share insights into the canyon geology, human history, and fire ecology. Groups may include up to 20 riders per departure. Rides operate March 1 through November 30 at 8:00 am and 12:00 pm, and December 1 through February 28 or 29 at 10:00 am. Check in is required at least 90 minutes prior to departure, and guests are strongly encouraged to reconfirm reservations two days in advance. The cost is 185.56 dollars per person including tax and includes a souvenir water bottle. Operating dates and pricing are subject to change.
