Pywiack Cascade Details
A cool waterfall with a funny name, the Pywiack Cascade tumbles about 600 feet down a granite face -- just one of a series of waterfalls on Tenaya Creek downstream of Tenaya Lake. The falls get their name from a Native American phrase meaning "glistening rocks." Yosemite visitors can see the waterfall from Glacier Point or take a six-mile hike to a closer viewpoint from Olmstead Point. Pywiack Cascade usually flows year-round, peaking in spring and early summer.
