Cascade Falls Details
This gorgeous, but ultimately typical trail leads through a generally level mixed evergreen forest marked by tall stands of lodgepole pines and lush undergrowth as well as some open meadows that are known for herds of young elk and over 80 species of wildflowers before it reaches the long, rushing waters of Cascade Falls. Unlike most falls, these have little vertical drop, and instead stretch out over a few miles, constantly bubbling, crashing, and falling through cutes and around boulders before the clear, cold waters empty into Grand Lake.
