Trione-Annadel State Park Details
The best time to visit this state park is during early spring until summer when the open meadows and fields are filled with budding wildflowers. However, this 5,092-acre park has plenty of other fascinating things to offer, even if you come outside of wildflower season. This is also a prime destination for hiking as the park contains over 40 miles of trails with varying levels of difficulty. It is worth visiting Lake Ilsanjo, a 26-acre man-made reservoir if you want to do any swimming or fishing during your trip. If that is too crowded, head to the 30-acre Ledson Marsh to see a quieter and more rustic side to the park.
