There are several iconic sites to see during your visit to this state park. The first one is the 2,729-foot tall Bald Mountain, one of the main attractions for hikers and backpackers. From the top of the mountain, you will have amazing views of Mount Saint Helena and Napa Valley. Another must-see sight in the park is Sonoma Creek Falls. This waterfall has a 25-foot drop and is best visited after a period of rainfall (which isn't difficult considering it rains an average of 40-inches a year here). The park also contains the Robert Ferguson Observatory, a volunteer-run organization that offers public stargazing and solar observing events.
