This protected wilderness area in Mendocino County is a local-favorite spot for hiking. It has a 38-acre old-growth forest comprised of redwoods and Douglas firs. But despite its name, there aren't any places to camp. While it was used for camping in the mid-1900s, the sites were removed in 1976.
