Navarro River Redwoods State Park Details
As you head towards the Pacific Ocean down Highway 128, you will enter the Anderson Valley and drive through an 11-mile stretch of redwood forest. Lining both sides of the Navarro River, these towering trees were once completely logged to the stump in the late 1800s, although they have since regrown to create this magnificent tunnel. It is worth exploring the forest on foot, although some visitors may also choose to kayak or canoe down the river. The waters are filled with coho salmon and steelhead trout, making this park a popular place for fishing as well. There are also two campsites located in the park.
