Deer Mountain Details

This well-maintained popular trail climbs steadily along the ponderosa pine and aspen groves on the sunny southern hillsides leading to the 10,013-foot summit of Deer Mountain. Sandwiched between Beaver Mountain and Horseshoe Park, the small summit is one of the first to become accessible during the summer months, and is well-liked due to its wide southern views across Longs Peak, Beaver Meadows, Moraine Park, the Mummy Range, and the Continental Divide.
