With 54-acres of open grass meadows and oak, maple, and cedar forests, this state park is one of the least visited areas around Lake Champlain. However, there are still decent facilities, including a boat rental shop, BBQ grills, and picnic facilities. Most guests come to enjoy the 2,200-beachfront, where you can sunbathe or swim. There is also a walking trail that leads around parts of the lake and through the forest. Next to the beach is a preserved natural area, which is home to a wide variety of local and exotic plants.
