Coyote Valley Trail Details
This roughly one-mile, handicapped-accessible loop trail crosses the banks of the Colorado River and helps explain the park's riparian habitat to visitors. You may see moose or elk here, but even if you don't you can enjoy the views of the river and the Never Summer Mountains. The river, wetlands, meadows, rich soil, and high humidity here provide a lush habitat for birds, beaver, muskrats and moose, while deer and elk also venture down to the river to drink.
