Pearl Geyser Details
Often considered one of the prettiest geysers in the park, this thermal feature is located in the Norris Geyser, but does not really live up to the typical idea of a geyser. The geyser's pool is often near empty, drained during the more frequent eruptions of nearby geysers, but when it is not, it is a constantly bubbling pool surrounded by colorful formations and pearlescent, mineralized earth. When the geyser does erupt, it can measure up to 8 feet in height, bur it is not uncommon to see sudden bursts of water rising up a foot or two.
