Negutaquet Conservation Area Details

Consisting primarily of views of hardwood forests and open fields, the 100 acres of the Negutaquet Conservation Area were originally meant to be a subdivision. Once that plan fell through, Vera Spohr purchased the acreage from the bank to become the gifted conservation land it is today. With approximately two miles of easy trails for public enjoyment, the quaint cemetery, river frontage, and old double oak are peaceful features of a pleasant and restful place where the public may stop to relax and enjoy nature's offers.
