Angels Landing Details

One of the most famous points in Zion National Park, this narrow outcropping is highly visible from the canyon floor, and is also accessible via an intimidating trail that culminates at the very end of the point. The "Landing," named because, "only an angel could land on it," rises 1,208 feet, and features sheer cliffs, long drop-offs, and beautiful views of the Virgin River, Big Bend, Cable Mountain, the Great White Throne, and many other equally spectacular landmarks. The landmark's steep red walls are also stunning when viewed from the canyon floor.
