Middle Emerald Pools Trail Details
From the lower falls, the trail turns into sunny dirt path ascending over a short series of switchbacks to the plateau where the middle pools are found. The trail crosses a number of small streams before reaching the pools, which are lined with mossy boulders, water-loving plants, and hanging sandstone ledges and multiple waterfalls after heavy rains or snowmelt. From these pools there are great views of Red Arch Mountain, Lady Mountain, and Mount Majestic.
