Lower Emerald Pool Trail Details

The easiest of the three Emerald Pools trails, this shady, paved trail follows the North Fork of the Virgin River through arching cottonwoods, sandstone outcroppings, and moss-lined cliff walls. The pool itself is absolutely breathtaking, appearing as a fern and flower-lined oasis surrounded by dark canyon walls and twin waterfalls that pour from the middle pools. The trail is accessible to most, and is paved and fairly level.
