East Entrance Details
The mile-high east entrance to Zion National Park is located on the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. In addition to serving as the gateway to Zion for travelers visiting Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon, the east entrance is also the trailhead for Zion's East Rim trail and many backcountry trails through the park's higher, cooler east side.
