Cades Cove Visitor Center Details

Open every day the year except Christmas Day, the Cades Cove Visitor Center is a great resource for both visitors just entering the park and those wanting to explore Cades Coves. Located about 5.5 miles down the Cades Cove Loop Road, this convicted placed center houses exhibits about historic Smoky Mountain life and culture, including a seasonally operating grist mill, the Becky Cable house, and other facets of the area's past. Ranger-led tours and programs are also available seasonally. The center also includes the Great Smoky Mountain Association bookstore, and public restrooms. Open every day except Christmas Day. January: 9:00-4:30 p.m. February: 9:00-5:00 p.m. March: 9:00-6:00 p.m. April-August; 9:00-7:00 p.m. September-October: 9:00-6:00 p.m. November: 9:00-5:00 p.m. December: 9:00 -4:30 p.m.
