Dripping Springs Trail Details
Dipping Springs, perennial springs 1,400 feet below the South Rim, is a popular destination for all day hikers. Slowly traveling west down the canyon, this generally level trail occasionally nears the edge, and offers truly spectacular views across Hermit Basin. Although this trail is usually combined with the Hermit Trail to make a longer outing, it can also be combined with the Boucher Trail. The water from the springs is potable if treated or filtered, and is a popular filling spot for hikers on longer trails.
