Rim Trail Details

One of the most popular trails on the South Rim, this easy trail runs from along the Canyon's edge from Yavapai Point and the historic buildings of the Village to Hermits Rest. The level, well-maintained path passes a number of the South Rim's major attractions, including a number of the park's most accessible views of the colorful inner canyon. Although the trail does not descend into the Canyon, it provides a wonderful introduction to the flora and fauna living below, and is easily broken into shorter walks between nearby shuttle stops.
