Healy Creek Details
From the Sundance Canyon Junction, the Healy Creek trail winds and dips through a forest before arriving at the Brewster Creek Junction and ending at Sunshine Road. This trail ends near the Trans-Canada Highway, and you can either ride back to Banff along the road (but use caution on this very busy highway!) or turn around and ride the trail back. Two things to consider before ridging the Healy Creek trail: it's used by commercial horse traffic, and it is not advisable to ride in wet conditions. Trail guides and cycling maps are available, and be sure to follow the park's rules and regulations to make the most of your ride: be bear aware; ride on designated trails; avoid riding during extreme conditions; help preserve the trails' quality; know your limits; yield to other riders; and, of course, leave no trace. **Trail Type**: Out and Back **Difficulty:** Easy **Distance:** 11 kilometers round trip (6.8 miles) **Trailhead**: Sundance Canyon Junction **Connector:** Brewster Creek
