Marsh Loop Details

The Marsh Loop is a nice trail that follows wetlands that are filled with water from the hot springs flowing from Sulphur Mountain. For a look at the unique environment found here, head below the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, where exotic plants such as orchids thrive. Add on to your hike with another 1.1 kilometer (0.7 mile) walk on the Marsh Boardwalk and over the marshland and thermal waters. The trailhead for this hike is at Cave and Basin National Historic Site at the south end of Cave Avenue.
