Sarbach Lookout Details

When the fire lookout was closed in 1971, the forest took over and its growth has pretty much blocked the views at Sarbach Lookout. It's still a terrific hike, though, especially if you're seeking a good workout for the day. The trailhead for this hike is off of Highway 93 North, 71 kilometers (44 miles) north of the Lake Louise junction, or 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) south of the Saskatchewan Crossing at the Mistaya Canyon parking lot.
