One of Banff National Park's most spectacular features is Johnston Canyon, and in just 30 minutes you can find yourself at its Lower Falls. What's particularly cool about this hike is that it's along a catwalk that leads you through the depths of the canyon. Another cool thing? The mist of Johnston Creek that hangs in the air. The trailhead for this hike is off of the Bow Valley Parkway, 22 kilometers (13.7 miles) west of the Town of Banff.
