Long Valley Yurts Details

Long Valley Yurts offers luxury yurt camping accommodations at three locations throughout the Lake District: Low Wray, Great Langdale and Moss Howe Farm. There are six yurts at the Low Wray site, within the National Trust Campsite at Low Wray on Windermere. There are three yurts at Great Langdale Valley, near Scafell Pike, Britain's highest mountain, and two more at Moss Howe Farm in the Winster Valley southwest of Windermere Lake. The yurts are decorated with colorful Moroccan textiles and are lit with solar power. All offer ample kitchen utensils and gas cooktops, as well as wood-burning stoves. Toilets and hot showers are nearby at each site, as well as laundry facilities.
