Cades Cove Area Details
Cades Cove is a relatively accessible area for disabled visitors. Designated parking spaces are located across from the ranger station, and are adjacent to the campground, picnic area, Campground Store, and accessible restrooms. There are also accessible restrooms in the Visitor Center, as well as ramp access to the exhibits and information in the center. A Cades Cove Auto Tour pamphlet is available from the Cable Mill area, and provides excellent information about the historic area, as some of the paths leading closer to the buildings are not hard packed. Most of the shorter paths in the area, however, are hard-packed, or paved.
