Skolai Pass Details
This mountain pass is considered some of the best hiking in the park. With its position near the Russian Glacier and between untouched peaks, this pass is popular for backpackers and basecampers (camping is allowed throughout the route without permit). Several local guiding outfitters offer this location as the cornerstone to a backpacking excursion and offer bush plane pick up or drop off service. This is one of the best places in the park to visit at anytime of day, but especially at sunrise and sunset.
