Get far off the beaten path to explore an unexcavated Ancestral Puebloan site. This untouched national monument lies eight miles south of the town of Cortez, Colorado. Meet your ranger-guide at the Colorado Welcome Center in Cortez, carpool to the trailhead, and enjoy a moderate two hour, one mile round trip walk together, learning all about the history of this ancient area. Total tour time, including carpool to and from trailhead, is three hours. A great deal at $5 per person, limited to 15 people, 8am, mid-May through mid-September.
